The elusive former Kidderminster Harriers striker, who has not been seen at Bower Fold since Celtic put him on contract several weeks ago, commented on Twitter earlier this week: "Can't wait to start my trial on Thursday at @GalatasaraySK experience I couldn't turn down!”
Gorski (pictured) responded: "Yes, I have been made aware that Anthony is going on trial to Galatasaray. There would be no one more delighted than me if he's successful and I wish the lad the very best of luck.
"But ultimately, Galatasaray need to understand that Anthony is currently still our player."
No doubt Stalybridge will be demanding sizeable compensation if the Turkish club decide they want to sign Malbon, whom manager Keith Briggs rates extremely highly.
