Manager Jody Banim said: “We’ve had no problem scoring — we’ve hit 13 goals in our last four games — it’s keeping them out that’s been the issue.
“Hopefully, we are starting to get there now. Despite our injuries and lack of consistency we’re still fifth in the table. At the start of the season, if we’d known what we’d have to contend with, we’d have taken that.
Banim has made two additions to his squad, both midfielders. Alpha Kaba, a 20-year-old from Guinea, joins the Robins from Buxton. Mason Fawns has been signed on a month’s loan from Oldham Athletic.
STALYBRIDGE CELTIC take on Mickleover Sports at Bower Fold looking to extend their unbeaten home run to seven games, a feat they last achieved in April, 2013.
Manager Steve Burr has the luxury of a fully fit squad to choose from and will be able to call upon the services of new signing Connor Hughes. The pacey ex-Oldham midfielder, who has been at Maine Road, goes straight into the squad.
Long-term injury victim Joe Garvin has left the club, signing forms to play for North West Counties outfit Padiham when he returns to fitness.
In the first division north, Tom Dean returns to MOSSLEY’s squad after a one-game suspension. Rory Fallon and Marko Basic are also available for the match at Skelmersdale after being not being allowed to play in the FA Trophy defeat by Lancaster. Rio Ahmadi also comes into the equation after being ruled out by work commitments, but James McLean-Oppong has a knock and cannot play.
Calum Chippendale comes back for GLOSSOP NORTH END at home to Prescot Cables. However, Jay Gorton is still injured, and Lewis Lacy (stomach) is doubtful. Jason Hill, who has a damaged knee, is not expected to return until the end of the month.
Alex Frost is the only doubt for DROYLSDEN away at Colwyn Bay as Domaine Rouse is fit to play and there are no suspensions. Former Altrincham striker Sefton Gonzales has been signed from FC United.
