He describes one as a significant revenue stream for the football club, and the other as something the fans will appreciate in the coming season. Both should be revealed over the next couple of days.
Looking at the new season, which starts with a home game against Mickleover on August 18, Gorski commented: “Simon Haworth has had to assemble a squad from scratch but he’s very optimistic about the prospects.
“We’re not saying that we’re going to run away with the league, and we’re not even saying we’ll finish in the top ten, but we’re very pleased with the players we’ve got.
“There was one area where Simon felt we needed something extra and that was central defence. Michael Clarke is the final piece in the jigsaw.
“He used to be captain at Stockport County in National League North, which shows how highly Jim Gannon rates him. We’re thrilled to have Michael at the club.
“Off the pitch we’ve got a couple of positive things coming up. On the pitch Simon Howarth is very pleased with the ways things are going. Things are looking positive and should be much better than last year.”
